Video Quality Settings

DeoVR supports the formats all major adult VR content uses:

Auto-quality is on by default. Turn it off and lock a resolution if you're on stable internet — auto often downgrades during brief fluctuations and doesn't always recover quickly. For Quest 3, 4K–6K gives the best balance of sharpness and stream stability. Above 6K you'll feel the compression artifacts more than the extra resolution on most connections.

Playing Local Files

DeoVR isn't only a streaming client. It plays local VR video files too.

On Quest: files stored on the device appear in DeoVR's local library automatically. Connect via USB, copy files over, they show up without extra configuration. Useful for downloaded scenes or content from other sources.

On PC: DeoVR scans your video folders. Point it at your download directory. Projection detection is automatic for most standard VR filename conventions (e.g. _180_SBS, _360, _lr).

Common Issues & Fixes

Login fails or content won't load

Log out and log back in. SLR occasionally has session token issues. If that doesn't work, clear the app cache on Quest (Settings → Apps → DeoVR → Clear Cache) and try again.

Streaming quality drops mid-scene

Turn off auto-quality. Lock it to a fixed resolution in DeoVR's quality settings. Auto mode drops quality during any internet fluctuation — even brief ones — and doesn't always recover.

Interactive toy sync drops mid-scene

Fully close the app via the taskbar, then reopen. If it keeps crashing, uninstall and reinstall — your account credentials aren't stored in the app itself, just the logins.
